While working at GDC IT Solutions as a bench technician, I gained valuable hands-on experience with laptop hardware, including diagnosing issues, replacing components, and performing system reimaging. This was my first full-time job, and it gave me a solid understanding of what it means to work in a professional IT environment.

A significant part of my responsibilities also involved using a web-based inventory management system called Finale to track incoming and outgoing devices. This helped me understand the logistical side of IT operations and how organized inventory tracking plays a key role in efficiency and accountability. Overall, the role not only deepened my technical skills but also gave me a real-world perspective on full-time work in the IT field.

As an IT intern at PSBA, I was introduced to the inner workings of the IT department and how they leverage technology to support the company's operations. This experience opened my eyes to the critical role IT plays in maintaining smooth day-to-day functions.

I gained insight into how the team manages basic networking tasks, such as configuring routers and switches, setting up user access, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. I also learned about the importance of system monitoring, including tracking server performance, ensuring uptime, and using tools to proactively detect and address potential issues before they impact productivity. Overall, the internship gave me hands-on exposure to real-world IT practices and deepened my understanding of how technology supports business infrastructure.

I started college as an undecided major. After a year of gen-eds and thinking, I came to realize I had a passion for technology. During my time at Messiah I was on the mens volleyball team.

During my time at Northern York High School, I was on the basketball team and volleyball team. I was not sure of what I wanted to do until I got in to college so my time in high school was spent growing my network and learning about a lot of fields to go into.
